AURACAST
Auracast is a new feature within the Bluetooth standard that allows you to share audio wirelessly with multiple devices simultaneously. Previously, this was limited to one-to-one connections. That is now changing, and it can be compared to a "radio broadcast" within a specific area, such as a museum, church, conference hall, university, public space, gym, festival, public transport, or office. Users can listen to your audio broadcast or stream using their own earbuds or headphones, including announcements, advertisements, translations, and more. The possibilities are endless.

A NEW STANDARD FOR WIRELESS AUDIO
- Multi-broadcast
- Optimized high-quality audio
- No app required
- Potential range of over 100m indoors
- Standard in future Bluetooth devices
- Will eventually stream directly to hearing aids
- Set to become the new standard for our everyday lives
HOW IT WORKS
An unlimited number of Auracast™ receivers within range can join a broadcast. The transmitter—such as a microphone, sound system, smartphone, television, or tablet—sends a high-quality signal to receivers like headphones, earbuds, or hearing aids. As an intermediate step, this can also be managed via a smartphone or smartwatch if your earbuds, headphones, or hearing aids do not yet support the technology directly.

USER CONVENIENCE IS EVOLVING RAPIDLY
Brands like Samsung and Sennheiser have already released their first generation of Auracast-ready wireless earbuds. JBL PRO earbuds even feature a smart charging case that lets you select the right broadcast directly—without needing your phone. Want to keep the broadcast private? No problem: you can add a code if needed. This technology will be available everywhere in the coming years, even on your home flat-screen TV, and will become a part of our daily lives.
