What exactly is a “wrap-up” video? You may have heard the term before, or this might be the first time you’re coming across it. A wrap-up video is an aftermovie of an event that is edited and shown to the audience on the very same day. This way, you give your audience that extra “wow” feeling at the end of the day before they head home.
At IFS, we usually work with a team of three professionals on the day of the event. We have one cameraman capturing all the atmosphere shots, and another cameraman filming the more substantive parts, such as interviews. In addition, we have a video editor working on-site. Throughout the day, the cameramen regularly bring their recorded footage to the video editor, who immediately incorporates it into the edit.

A wrap-up video shown on the same day instantly creates energy, recognition, and connection. Visitors see themselves and the highlights of the event, resulting in a powerful closing moment. It strengthens the sense of unity and demonstrates the event’s impact before everyone leaves. A wrap-up video is not only a creative finale, but also a strategic communication moment that leaves a lasting impression.
The wrap-up video can also be used immediately on your social media channels, allowing you to start promoting your next event right away.
