How long has IFS Audiovisueel been active and what is your experience?

IFS Audiovisueel was founded in 1962 and has over 60 years of experience in the audiovisual industry. During that time, we have supported thousands of congresses, events and installations for both national and international clients. Our technicians have in-depth knowledge of sound, image, light and interpreting technology, and are happy to work with you towards a professional result.

Do you support both small and large events?

Yes. IFS Audiovisueel supports events of every scale, from an intimate meeting with ten participants to an international congress with thousands of attendees. We always tailor the technology and staffing to the size and nature of your event, so you always get exactly what you need.

Do you also work with international clients?

Absolutely. IFS Audiovisueel regularly works with international organisations and congresses held in the Netherlands. We communicate in English and are well-versed in the requirements that international events place on interpreting technology, simultaneous translation and multicultural communication.

Congresses & events

What is included in the AV technology for a congress?

A complete AV package for a congress includes sound, image and lighting, tailored to the venue and programme. Think professional sound systems, wireless microphones, projectors or LED walls, stage lighting and, if required, interpreting technology or livestreaming. Our technicians are on-site throughout the day for setup, support and breakdown.

Can you also provide hybrid events with livestreaming?

Yes. IFS Audiovisueel provides complete hybrid events in which physical and online participants are served equally. We handle the livestream, camera registration and technical execution, so presentations and discussions are broadcast live to an online audience. Recordings can be saved for later use.

Do you also provide on-site technicians, or only equipment?

We always provide a complete package: equipment and qualified technicians. Our team handles the setup, technical support during the event and the breakdown afterwards. This allows you to focus entirely on your programme and guests, knowing the technology is in good hands. Our technicians are dressed in a full suit or smart casual attire, depending on the nature of your event so they look professional and blend seamlessly into your environment.

Is it possible to support multiple rooms simultaneously?

Yes. IFS Audiovisueel has extensive experience with multi-day congresses and events where multiple rooms or venues are supported simultaneously. We assign a dedicated technician per room and provide central coordination, ensuring everything runs smoothly, even during parallel sessions or changing programmes.

Interpreting & accessibility

What interpreting solutions do you offer for international events?

IFS Audiovisueel provides complete interpreting technology for international congresses and meetings. We supply simultaneous interpretation systems with interpreter booths, wireless receivers for participants and digital interpreting platforms for hybrid events. Auracast solutions for wireless audio transmission are also part of our offering. We advise on the best setup for your venue and programme.

What is the difference between conference interpreting and whispering interpreting?

With conference interpreting, the interpreter works from a soundproofed booth and translates simultaneously via a professional interpreting system. Participants receive the translation through a wireless receiver and earpiece. Whispering interpreting works differently: the interpreter sits next to one person or a small group and whispers the translation directly, without technical equipment. Conference interpreting is suited for large groups; whispering interpreting for individual guidance or small delegations.

Do you work with external interpreters, or can you arrange them as well?

Both options are possible. If you already work with your own interpreters, we provide the necessary technology and on-site support. If you do not yet have interpreters, we supply them through our network of certified and sworn interpreters with experience in your field. This way, you arrange both technology and interpreters through a single point of contact, which significantly simplifies the collaboration.

Do you also work with AI interpreting?

Yes. IFS Audiovisueel closely follows the latest developments in AI-driven interpreting solutions. For certain applications, such as multilingual subtitling or speech recognition during presentations, we can deploy AI tools such as Speak-see. For high-quality simultaneous interpretation at congresses, we always recommend a certified human interpreter. AI provides valuable support, but is not yet a full replacement.

Video & animation

Do you also produce promotional videos for online marketing and social media?

Yes. IFS Audiovisueel produces short and impactful promotional videos suitable for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other channels. We take into account the correct format, length and message per platform, ensuring your video performs optimally, both online and live at an event.

Do you also produce an aftermovie or wrap-up video of an event?

Certainly. IFS produces professional aftermovies and wrap-up videos that capture the atmosphere and highlights of your event. We handle full post-production including music licences, colour correction and graphic elements. Same-day editing is available upon request, so you can share the video on social media before the day is over.

Can IFS produce a corporate video for our organisation?

Yes. IFS Audiovisueel guides the entire process from concept to delivery. Whether it is a corporate film, introduction video, testimonial video or recruitment video — we help shape your story and deliver a professional result. We come to your location and deliver the material in your preferred format.

Can you create an animation to explain a product or service?

Yes. Explainer animations are ideal for presenting complex products or services in a clear and engaging way. IFS guides the entire process from script and storyboard to animation and voice-over. We incorporate your brand identity, colours and logo so the animation seamlessly aligns with your corporate style. The result is immediately ready for use on your website, in presentations or on social media.

Installation, lease & maintenance

Do you also provide permanent AV installations in buildings?

Yes. IFS Audiovisueel installs permanent AV systems for meeting rooms, auditoriums, offices, hospitality venues and public spaces. This includes sound systems, displays, LED walls, video conferencing systems and hearing loops. We always start with a site visit and technical consultation to ensure the installation perfectly suits your space and intended use.

Is long-term rental or lease of equipment possible?

Yes. In addition to one-off rentals, IFS Audiovisueel also offers long-term rental and lease arrangements. This is an attractive solution for organisations that regularly require professional AV equipment but do not wish to invest in purchasing. We put together a suitable package based on your usage and budget.

Do you offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for installed AV systems?

Yes. IFS Audiovisueel offers maintenance contracts and SLA agreements for permanent installations. The contract includes agreed response times, preventive maintenance and availability of our technical support team. This ensures your systems always perform optimally and any issues are resolved swiftly. Please contact us for a suitable maintenance package.
