IFS Audiovisueel supplies complete lighting technology for congresses, events, parties, trade shows, weddings and building projects, for both local and international clients. Our technicians prepare a lighting plan in advance that suits the space, the programme and the desired appearance.
Functional lighting
For congresses and corporate events we provide clear stage lighting that ensures speakers are clearly visible. We work with moving heads, LED tubes and DMX mixers for a clean and reliable lighting setup. For outdoor locations we also supply waterproof lighting and battery-powered lighting without cables.
For events, parties and weddings we use light to create atmosphere and bring the space to life. With uplights, ambient lighting and light shows we create an appearance that matches the character of the event. DJ lighting and moving light add energy to every party.
Special effects and building illumination
For an extra experience we provide special effects such as fog machines, confetti cannons, Sparkular and CO2 effects. In addition, we illuminate facades and buildings with professional outdoor lighting, perfect for opening events, trade shows and permanent installations.

Congres of presentatie
Sprekers egaal en zonder harde schaduwen verlicht, zodat de zaal en de camera hun gezicht goed zien. De zaal iets gedimd, zodat het scherm leesbaar blijft.
Tip van de technicusLaat het frontlicht niet op het projectiescherm vallen. Een paar graden draaien maakt het verschil tussen een fel beeld en een flets beeld.

Speakers lit evenly and without harsh shadows, so both the room and the camera see their faces clearly. The room slightly dimmed, so the screen stays readable.
Technician's tipKeep the front light off the projection screen. Turning it a few degrees makes the difference between a bright image and a washed-out one.

Good to knowThe dotted line is the safe margin. Keep your text or logo inside it, so it is projected complete and sharp. A metal gobo projects one colour, a glass gobo shows your logo in colour.

That depends on the venue, the number of fixtures and whether a lighting technician needs to be present. Front light and uplights in a room only need a small setup; a show with moving heads, truss and a lighting desk takes more. We always make a tailored quote after a quick look at the venue and the programme.
Can haze be used in any venue?
Not always. Haze can set off smoke detectors. We agree with the venue in advance whether haze is allowed and how the fire alarm system is set. Where haze is not allowed, we choose lighting and effects that look good without it.
Is the lighting also suitable for a livestream or video recording?
Yes, as long as it is set up for it. We use flicker-free fixtures, one colour temperature and soft front light, so faces look natural on camera and no stripes run through the image. Mention in your request that there will be filming or streaming.
How much time is needed to set up and take down?
For a congress room with front and ambient lighting, set-up usually takes a few hours. With truss, moving heads and a light show it takes longer, and sometimes we set up a day in advance. Taking down is quicker. The quote states exactly when we arrive and when the room is empty again.
Is a lighting technician present during the event?
For shows, galas and congresses with several lighting states, a technician operates the lighting and adjusts it where needed. Ambient lighting that stays the same all evening can also be set in advance, without a technician present. We advise what suits your event best.
